[tags: Post-traumatic stress disorder, PTSD] - Spartacus Spartacus is a historical epic film showing the rise and fall of a slave revolt in the Roman Empire.

His wife stands below him with Spartacus" child and cries, "He will live as a fear man, Spartacus! In the movie, Spartacus and the other gladiators fought against the Roman army, they lost the fight and Spartacus and the other slaves were captured by the Roman army, and Spartacus was crucified. Within ten minutes of sitting with Spartacus, I received a call on my cell phone with a Washington, DC area code. Spartacus and his followers escaped from their training school and were joined on Mount Vesuvius by other escaped slaves and gladiators. Spartacus and his army were finally destroyed in 71 B. and many of Spartacus's soldiers were crucified. Another film that did this was Spartacus starring Kirk Douglas.

The accuracy of the movie Spartacus as an historical biography is mostly fiction with some facts. The real Spartacus had a wife who shared in his escape and was then living with him. Whereas the real Spartacus went from Capua to Thurii in 73BCE, then from Thurii up to the alps then down to Brundisium in 72BCE, in 71BCE Spartacus was killed in southern Italy. Spartacus had just been named Senator of his province. ., a famous gladiator named Spartacus helped put an end to these games. The story of Spartacus begins with rebellious slaves escaping from a gladiatorial training school in Capua. In the film, Spartacus says that he was a slave from birth and that his father before him was also a slave. The Gladiator Spartacus, written in 1951 by Howard Fast, is the story of a gladiator, named Spartacus. The film follows the life of the Thracian slave, Spartacus, from his purchase by a trainer of gladiators and his leadership of the revolt to the climactic battle with the Roman Army and his eventual crucifixion at the order of Crassus. The Film stars Kirk Douglas, Laurence Olivier, Charles Laughton and a host of other stars. But, most of these people are free people that live in a free country with a free lifestyle. What if someone has never been blessed with freedom. The book "Spartacus and the Slave Wars" is a brief history with many documents from various sources. This film showed everything from the slave perspective and showed the rise and fall of the hero, Spartacus. The book talks about the Roman Empire existing around 135-70 B. All sources in this book are based on the facts from the Roman Empire era on how they used slaves for various purposes such as in the military, as farmers, peasants, artisans and laborers. Spartacus" respect for Varinia captures her heart as Spartacus falls closely attached to her. Spartacus is pinned by this warrior, but he refuses to kill Spartacus. Both Spartacus and Gladiator although they were two different movies, they were the same in many ways. We see that both were very exceptional leaders, Maximus was the most well known general throughout the Roman Empire and led them to victory many a times, while Spartacus was a great leader in his own right. However, it is documented that Spartacus actually died in battle, when he ran at Crassus: "he [Spartacus] was finally killed, not easily or unvanged ." (149). In the film, Spartacus falls in love with a kitchen slave who he takes with him and who eventually has his child. Spartacus shows his incredible bravery when "Spartacus rose to his feet"(152) and "the trainers lashed out their whips and knives"(152). Another one of Spartacus's traits is his leadership. Spartacus's third quality is his love of life.
