Although Castro did many negative things he also did a few positive ones.

For those abroad who defame us, to those who speak of democracy and slander us, we could offer no better argument than the million and more Cubans who have gathered here today.In the year 1956 he returned from being exiled and he led a Cuban rebellion in the south east part of Cuba. These forces were known as the Twenty Sixth of July Movement.Fidel became very popular among the people of Cuba.Because of his new power he felt that if he didn’t like another political figure he would and could have them executed. Castro made his government seize all United States owned sugar mills, electric utilities and oil refineries.That decision was a poor one for his country and its economy.In conclusion we can see that Fidel Castro had a major impact on Cuba.I feel that Fidel being dictator was not good for his country.Since he became popular he gained power and control of Batista on January 1 of the year 1959. Because of this one party socialist state many middle class citizens, along with the upper-class citizens too, would be exiled.Many things in Cuba changed because of Fidel Castro. Fidel often showed hostility toward the United states.To those who do not understand or who do not wish to understand, we say that this is the secret of the tremendous power of the Cuban revolution.Could we have overthrown the tyranny simply to have a change of men in government?
