I reflect on my own EAL teaching practices, compare and contrast the research of Illeris and Cary, and then blend their suggestions into an example EAL grammar lesson.

Los resultados muestran preponderancia de finalidades pedagógicas, si bien las eva- luativas tienen importante ponderación; aun cuando el enfo- que tradicional está considerablemente presente, se identifica de alguna forma el socioformativo.
