What To Do Writing a dissertation on social marketing may seem to be a fun topic that you want to research but keep in focus that this is a professional paper.

To make the crafting of your social media dissertation more interesting, I have outlined a few do’s and don’ts to contemplate.

What Not To Do Don’t take it for granted that because you use social media and everybody is talking about social media this will be an easy task. But while stereotypes about the emotional profile of status updates — that they are overly-positive, or overly-angry — have solidified, evidence remains circumstantial and indirect.Further, although researchers have made numerous efforts to use the emotions we express in status updates to make inferences about our emotional lives — generating national happiness indices, predicting mental illnesses and evaluating emotional outcomes of experimental interventions — little is known about the validity of these inferences at the individual level, and researchers have largely ignored the impact of self-presentation and privacy concerns on validity.Social media has significantly changed the way humans communicate. Many people use social media to keep in touch with family and friends and receive up-to-date information about what happens around the world. Finally, while debate continues about the emotional impacts of browsing social media in the course of day-to-day life, researchers have focused only on a limited set of emotions, rather than investigating the range of human emotion.More To address these issues, I present three analyses regarding (1) the emotions we express in social media, (2) what can be inferred about our emotional lives in general based on how we express ourselves in social media, and (3) the emotional experience of browsing social media. Social media seems to be a topical issue wherever you go.Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram or the countless others that seem to emerge day by day, the millions of followers that use social media have gained the attention of marketers all around the globe. The results show how different motivations lead to different levels of participation in social media and level of participation consequently influences performance. We also find that sentiment of the messages posted on social media significantly influence their performance.
