Recently, Delta celebrated 105 years of carrying on the legacy of sisterhood, scholarship and service with more than 200,000 members worldwide and 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, England, Japan, Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica and the Republic of Korea.

Hands down, I am most passionate about educating and supporting our youth.

Over time the sorority established its programmatic lens from which it would continue serving, with a primary focus on the Black community, but members also realized the need to assist individuals on an international level.

“While we could accomplish things on our own or individually, it will certainly be a lot more impactful to be part of a movement of women all focused on similar goals and initiatives,” says Brittany Grimes Zaehringer.

Margaret Antoinette Lardinois (Toni) explains the women are tied together under the core values of the organization, known as the Five Point Program Thrust — economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health and political awareness and involvement.

The same benefits of joining any other African American Greek organization.-Sisterhood - You will develop a bond between females that will last forever.-Career connections- One of the requirements to join DST is to pursue and/or possess a Bachelor's degree.

After sharing the intake process with a group of women, you can discover each other's goals, dreams, etc.
